Night In My Car

All youth families are invited to spend the night in their cars at Highland on March 23 to raise money for Family Promise. The event will be much like last year’s event, only this year we will be joined by three other youth groups! Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get an email from Sarah with a fundraising packet and more information. Our goal is for each car to raise $120, the average cost to house a family of 4 at Family Promise per night.

Who: Youth and their families

What: A night spent in your car with a $120 fund raising goal

Where: Highland UMC Parking lot

When: The night of March 23rd, 2018. 7:00 PM- 7:30 AM the following day.

Why: Homelessness is a problem many families face in Wake County. By raising money and awareness we hope to alleviate this issue and support these families as they transition to stable housing situations.
