Loving Childcare Options on Sunday Mornings

Nursery care is available for newborns through preschoolers during Sunday worship services and various mid-week events. Sunday mornings: Infant & Toddlers are in room 108, Preschoolers in room 107.

Your First Sunday at Highland

As you enter the parking lot, please park in one of our spaces reserved for first or second time worshippers.  If you have come for one of our traditional services at 8:30 or 11 AM, make your way to the Sanctuary, which is located at the front entrance.  If you have come for our 10:30 AM contemporary service, The Connection, please head to the large building (Bradley Hall) at the back of the parking lot.

What should you wear to Highland?  At The Connection, you will find people wearing everything from shorts and jeans to shirts and ties.  At the traditional services, you will see everything from polo shirts and slacks to three-piece suits, so regardless of the setting, the main thing is for you to be comfortable.

Please feel free to ask if you are looking for a Sunday School class (children, youth, or adult), or need assistance in anyway.  All of Highland’s members want you to know that you are welcome.

Want to learn more about Highland?  Join us at Starting Point

Be our guest at a Starting Point lunch on the third Sunday of the month at 12:15 PM the church Conference Room. We’ll provide lunch and Pastors Alan and Charlie will share about what life in our Highland UMC community looks like.  There will also be time for you to share more about yourself.
Coming to Starting Point is not a commitment to join the church, but a way for new visitors to learn more about the congregation to make a more informed decision about joining in the future.
Please register here or call the church office during business hours at 919-787-4240.  Please let us know you are coming by the Wednesday before so that we can adequately prepare for your coming.

Keep up with What’s Happening at Highland

We send out a weekly e-mail newsletter each Wednesday at noon.  It includes details about the upcoming Sunday’s worship services along with all the latest news from Highland’s ministries.  If you would like to receive our e-News, click here.
