TRANSLATION & SYNOPSIS

Laudate Dominum (Praise the Lord) Translation

Praise the Lord, all ye nations,
praise him, all ye peoples.
For his loving kindness
has been bestowed upon us,
and the truth of the Lord endures for eternity.

La serenata (Serenade) Synopsis

Serenade is a romantic vision in which a lover asks the serenade to fly to his beloved (Vola, o serenata).

She reposes in silken sheets where outside the lamplight glows, the moon shines, and branches dance in the balmy air.

The beloved lady rejects the kisses brought by the flying serenade, but the lover asks the serenade to keep trying - Vola, O serenata, Vola. Ah, Lá (Fly, O serenade, fly. Ah, there).
