VBS 2022 Covid Precautions

1.  Numbers. This year’s VBS will feel much smaller than previous Highland VBS weeks. We will have approximately 60 VBS students plus youth helpers and adult volunteers in Bradley Hall for Opening and Closing Assembly each morning. –We will be able to give each other some space for dancing, singing, and breathing.

Our HCC friends will be participating in VBS, but their activities will be held on the 3rd floor of Bradley—so while we are all doing VBS, we will not be sharing space.

2.  Taking it outside! When feasible our VBS activities will happen outside. If not outside, we will be in large spaces inside–so the kids can spread out. Provided the weather cooperates, we will also be serving snacks outside.

3.  Testing. We are asking that all VBS students (non HCC) as well as our volunteers take a Covid test on Sunday evening/Monday morning. Our goal is to keep everyone well—so if you test positive or you are experiencing Covid symptoms, please stay home.
