Hide It In Your Heart Summer Scripture Challenge

Summer Hide It in Your Heart Challenge

Have you ever hidden something important and then forgotten where you put it?    I have—and it is so frustrating!  But if we hide something in our hearts we will never lose it—it will become part of who we are and how we think and live.  That’s the idea behind this summer’s memory challenge:  hide God’s Word in your heart and you will always have it with you.

We have selected 10 Bible verses for this summer’s challenge. The challenge for kids in grades 2 -5 is to memorize all ten verses! The challenge for younger children is to memorize three of the verses. -Please learn the name of the book (Deuteronomy, Psalms, etc.), the chapter and verse, too.

We will have a chart in  Wonder Kids to keep track of who has memorized which verse. Three verses committed to memory earns a trip to the prize box! Certificates will be awarded in August for those who complete the challenge!
